Soccer Fall 2011

We started Carter in soccer this fall and he has found a new love. He looks forward to the practices and the games every week. Sean built him a goal for his birthday so they go out and play almost every night. Carter is very competetive (not that we aren't). He knows how many goals he scored every game. He did really well and was a lot of fun to watch. His team was the Blackcats. They only had a total of 5 players on the team and they play 4 kids at a time. By the end of the game they all were so worn out. They played 20 minute halves and our boys ran pretty much the whole time.

We were his biggest fans! It was a riot. Crazy that we are starting sports already but a lot of fun and am so glad that he liked it as much as he did. Soccer is a great form of exercise!

They saw the ball and everyone goes running!

Carter going for the goal!

Waiting to kick it in from the sideline.

Intense consentration. He was really the only one on his team that totally got into the game and had a huge desire to score goals. We had many FHE lessons about teamwork, sportsmanship, and listening to the coach. Sports teach you so much it is amazing.

He was number 19.

After the final game. Coach Reed, Luke, Cooper, Carter, Carter and Colten! What a great season, can't wait for the next one!
